Travelling the World

I am from a black and white soccer ball

needing to touch the hard rope net every

day.

I am from a shining pearl on a necklace

boasting its beauty to get sold.

I am from friends to help me explore

places you have not heard of.

I am from books that have been

written by famous authors and

read by famous people.

I am from salty and warm seas around a tiny

island called Okinawa. Fought over by

China and Japan, finally claimed by

Japan.

I am from waiting for my father for long times

to come home after long times.

I am from movies, different each time I watch them.

Through the genres... action, adventure, horror, thriller,

children, family, and cartoon.

I am from traveling the world with my family

from continent to continent without sleeping

because of jetlag.

I am from what seems like endless schooldays when

you are going to do something fun after school.

I am from a small town many people do not know even exists.

It is called Homer, Alaska
