Pratt holds Community Conversation tonight

In conjunction with Curators’ Closet, the Pratt Museum holds a Community Conversation at 5:30 p.m. today, March 29.

Reflect on collections and the role of the museum.

Questions considered include “How does a museum decide what to collect? What might we collect over the next 50 years? What do you collect?”

Rarefied Light entry open

Fine art photographers can now enter Rarefied Light 2018, the annual statewide juried art exhibition sponsored by the Alaska Photographic Center.

Submit entries by April 22. For more information, visit akphotocenter.org. The exhibition is open to all Alaska photographers and can be two- or three-dimensional photographically derived works.

Texas photographer Arthur Meyerson is this year’s guest juror.
