Cleveland artist Elizabeth Emery visits Homer
and Bunnell Street Arts Center from Sept. 16-Nov.
15. A printmaker and multi-disciplinary artist, Emery
is a Rasmuson Artist in Residence and the second
Cleveland artist to visit Homer as part of the
Old Town AIR program, following last spring with
Melissa Daubert. Emery will present a talk about
her work and plans for her residency, including a
2,000+ postcard exchange between Cleveland and
Homer, at an open studio potluck and printmaking
salon held 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 5 to Nov. 5.
“I really look forward to getting to know the
arts community in Homer and to create friendships
that will last. A career in the arts is strengthened by
relationships with other artists,” Emery writes.
