Dec. 23

A caller at 1:49 p.m. reported a man not in compliance with sex offender registry requirements on East End Road. An officer went to the location and found the man was in fact in compliance.

A woman at 7:20 p.m. went to the police station to report a civil issue. An officer spoke with the woman.

A caller at 9:33 p.m. requested a welfare check on a person on West Hill Road. An officer spoke with the caller.

A caller at 10:15 p.m. requested assistance from an officer on Klondike Avenue. An officer spoke with the caller.

Dec. 24

A caller at 9:44 a.n. reported a previous shoplifter was back in the same store on Homer Bypass Road. An officer went to the scene and a woman was advised that she was trespassed from the location, and she left.

A caller at 11:33 a.m. requested that a welfare check be made on a patient who could not be reached on Heath Street. An officer went to the scene.

A caller at noon reported a disturbance at an apartment complex ton Main Street. Officers went to the location and the people involved were separated. The officers found no crime had been committed.

A caller at 2:23 p.m. requested a welfare check be made on an elderly woman on Clover Lane. An officer went to the location and contacted the woman.

A caller at 4:15 p.m. reported a disturbance at a home on Linda Court. Officers went to the location and made contact with the people in question.

A caller at 4:36 p.m. requested to speak with an officer about a civil issue on Hillfair Court. An officer advised the person of their options.

An officer at 6:20 p.m. helped a man with an animal that had been hit while in the roadway on East End Road.

A caller at 7:04 p.m. reported a disturbance at an apartment complex on West Fairview Avenue. Officers went to the location and provided transportation for one woman to a local hotel.

A caller at 9:52 p.m. requested that a person be removed from his property on Kachemak Drive. Officers went to the scene and the people in question left the area.

Dec. 25

An alarm company at 10:07 a.m. reported an alarm on Homer Bypass Road. An officer went to the scene.

An agency at 5 p.m. requested a welfare check be made on a woman walking down the sidewalk on Lake Street screaming. An officer contacted the woman.

An officer at 7:21 p.m. provided a civil standby on Grubstake Avenue for someone to retrieve property.

An agency at 8:32 p.m. requested that a welfare check be made on a woman on Ben Walters Lane. An officer went to the scene.

Dec. 26

A caller at 8:40 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle parked on Homer Bypass Road with occupants running away from the vehicle. An officer went to the area but wasn’t able to find a vehicle matching the description.

A caller at 1:15 p.m. requested that a welfare check be made on a family member on Sabrina Road. An officer contacted the person and found everything was OK.

An officer at 2:37 p.m. helped a driver with a disabled vehicle on Spit Road.

A caller at 3:45 p.m. requested that a welfare check be made on a family member on Saltwater Drive. An officer went to the scene, contacted the person and found everything was OK.

A caller at 3:53 p.m. reported an ATV racing up and down the road at Rochelle Road and Mark White Avenue. An officer went to the area but didn’t find an ATV.

A caller at 8:23 p.m. reported an abandoned dog on Spit Road. An officer went to the location to pick the do up, and the registered owner returned for the dog.

Dec. 27

A caller at 4:38 p.m. requested that a woman be trespassed from a location on Ocean Drive. Officers weren’t able to locate the woman.

A caller at 6:22 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle at East End Road and Mariner Drive. An officer went to the scene but the vehicle was already gone.

A person at 11 p.m. went to the police station and requested that a welfare check be made on a woman standing in the middle of the roadway at East End Road and Spencer Drive. An officer contacted the woman and provided her with transportation elsewhere.

Dec. 28

A caller at 4:08 a.m. requested that a welfare check be made on a woman on West Pioneer Avenue. An officer contacted the woman, who refused assistance.

A caller at 9 a.m. reported concern for a woman loitering at a business on Homer Bypass Road. An officer contacted the woman.

An officer at 3:57 p.m. assisted a driver at Mile 172 Sterling Highway.

An officer at 6:30 p.m. stopped on East End Road to assist with a possible vehicle in the ditch. The driver told the officer it was all OK.

Dec. 29

An officer at 3:56 a.m. located a vehicle in the ditch at East End Road and Collie Street.

A caller at 8:27 a.m. reported a man lying in the roadway on Main Street. An officer went to the scene and provided the man with a ride to his home. the man was left in the care of family members.

An officer at 12:30 p.m. provided traffic control for a vehicle being removed from the ditch at Lake Street and East Pioneer Avenue.

Troopers

Dec. 24

Alaska State Troopers at 1:46 a.m. received a report of a female at an address on Portlock Drive near Homer causing a disturbance. An investigation led to troopers arresting a 40-year-old Homer woman for trespassing. Further investigation showed the woman was on conditions of release for a separate criminal case. She was transported and remanded into the Homer Jail pending arraignment.

Dec. 29

Alaska State Troopers at 1:10 p.m. stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at mile 133 of the Sterling Highway in Ninilchik. During the stop, troopers found an 18-year-old Eagle River was in possession of marijuana. She was given a summons to appear in court and released.

Dec. 30

Alaska State Troopers received a report of rolling disturbance headed from Homer to Soldotna. The vehicle was stopped in the Soldotna area. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 40-year-old King Cove man. Investigation revealed that on Dec. 27 in the Homer area, the man had assaulted another individual by strangulating them and punching the individual multiple times. The man broke a cell phone and interfered with the a domestic violence report. The man was arrested and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial.

Taylor M. Timothy, 33, driving with license canceled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction.

Phillip L. Brown, 53, driving under the influence.
