At 12:35 p.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence near Mile 143 Sterling Hwy. in Ninilchik following a report that a 35-year-old Ninilchik man had broke out a window of a family member’s vehicle and had assaulted another family member. The man fled the scene prior to AST arrival. Charges of domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault and domestic violence-related third-degree criminal mischief were forwarded with an warrant request.
