Homer Police

Jan. 8

Homer Police got a report of a wanted person at 7:51 a.m. Officers responded and arrested a 32-year-old Homer woman on a Soldotna Alaska State Troopers warrant for $500 for failing to appear in court on an original charge of having no motor vehicle insurance. She was taken to the Homer Jail.

Homer Police responded to a business at 4:26 p.m. for a report of a shoplifter. They issued a 20-year-old Soldotna resident a summons for concealing merchandise.

Jan. 10

Homer Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 1:27 a.m. Officers arrested a 36-year-old Homer woman for second-degree assault, third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault, all domestic violence-related. She was remanded to the Homer Jail.

Jan. 11

Homer Police officers contacted a person in a vehicle at the city park at 3:54 a.m. They arrested a 40-year-old Homer man for third and fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was remanded to the Homer Jail.

Homer police got a report oh a physical altercation at a home. Police responded and arrested a 25-year-old Homer man for third and fourth-degree assault, both domestic violence-related. He was remanded to the Homer Jail.

Jan. 12

Homer Police got a report of a disturbance at a home at 10:18 a.m. Officers responded and arrested a 43-year-old Homer woman for domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault. She was remanded to the Homer Jail.

Jan. 13

Homer Police responded to a home for a disturbance at 9:27 p.m. They arrested a 44-year-old Homer man for two counts of violating conditions of release, and resisting arrest. He was remanded to Homer Jail.

Jan. 14

Homer Police made contact with a suspicious vehicle at 2:39 a.m. They arrested a 52-year-old Kirkland, Washington woman for driving under the influence.

Jan. 15

Homer Police contacted a person in a vehicle parked at a local business at 8:14 p.m. They arrested a 35-year-old Homer man for third and fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, and for violating conditions of release.

Jan. 16

Homer Police got a 911 report of a physical dispute. They arrested a 27-year-old Homer man for domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault.

Homer Police received a request for a welfare check on a man. An officer went to the location and ended up arresting a 48-year-old Homer woman for fourth-degree assault and violating conditions of release.

Homer Police got a report from a woman concerned about her spouse’s safety. A 43-year-old Home man was arrested for domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault and violating probation.

Troopers

Jan. 13

At approximately 12:08 p.m., Soldotna Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic on a green 1996 Subaru Legacy for a speed at approximately Milepost 10 of K-Beach Road. The driver was identified as a 35-year-old Anchor Point woman. A record check indicated her operator’s license was suspended. An additional record check showed she has prior convictions of the offense. The woman was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving with her license suspended and released on her recognizance.

At 1:59 a.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance in Anchor Point and contacted a 27-year-old Anchor Point man. Investigation found he had assaulted his girlfriend during an argument. He was arrested for first and fourth-degree assault. He was remanded at Wildwood Pre-trial with no bail.
