Homer Police

July 22

Homer Police at 6:39 p.m. made a traffic stop on a vehicle and arrested a 19-year-old Homer person on two outstanding warrants.

Police at 8:50 p.m. received a report of a theft and a possible “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint. Officers contacted the suspect vehicle and arrested a 29-year-old Wasilla woman for driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test and fourth-degree theft. They also arrested a passenger, a 36-year-old Wasilla man, on an outstanding warrant.

July 23

Police at 5:58 p.m. received a REDDI complaint. Police stopped the suspect driver and arrested a 38-year-old Homer woman for DUI.

July 24

Police at 2:15 a.m. received a report of a hit-and-run collision. Police located the suspect vehicle and arrested the driver, a 55-year-old Citra, Florida, man for DUI, refusal to submit to a chemical test and leaving the scene of an accident.

Police at 5 p.m. received a report of a fight in progress. Police arrested a 19-year-old Anchorage man with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and an 18-year-old Anchorage woman with disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass.

Police at 11:33 p.m. received a report of a disturbance and arrested a 42-year-old Homer man with violating conditions of release.

July 25

Police at 1:16 a.m. responded to a disturbance and arrested a 20-year-old man for violating conditions of release.

Police at 3:59 a.m. made a welfare check on a 26-year-old Seward woman and arrested her for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and fifth-degree criminal mischief.

July 26

Police at 1:50 p.m. arrested a 40-year-old Seward man on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.

Police at 2 p.m. arrested a 19-year-old Homer man for a probation violation.

Alaska State Troopers

July 19

Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 24-year-old Homer woman and a 26-year-old Homer man for commercial fishing in closed waters in the Egegik District.

July 25

Alaska Wildlife Troopers at cited a 63-year-old Anchor Point man for failure to record fish caught during a personal use fishery.
