Homer Police

Nov. 23

Homer Police at 9:41 p.m. arrested a 43-year-old Homer man for driving under the influence and took him to the Homer Jail.

Dec. 4

Police at 6:40 p.m. went to a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Police arrested the driver, a 50-year-old Lod, California man, for DUI.

Dec. 5

Police at 12:23 a.m. investigated a vehicle in the middle of the road. Police arrested a 29-year-old Homer man for second-degree criminal trespassing.

Police at 6:46 a.m. went to a report of a vehicle in the ditch. They arrested the drier, a 44-year-old Homer man, for DUI.

Police at 8:26 p.m. received a “report every dangerous driver immediately complaint of. As a result, they contacted the driver, a 38-year-old Covington, Maryland, man, and arrested him for DUI.

Alaska State Troopers

Dec. 2

Alaska State Troopers at 5 a.m. went to a North Fork Road area home for a report of a disturbance.Further investigation showed a 43-year-old Anchorage woman assaulted her boyfriend, causing physical injury to him. Troopers arrested her for third-degree domestic violence assault. Troopers said the woman had two prior assault convictions within the preceding 10 years. She was taken to the Homer Jail.

Dec. 3

A trooper K-9 unit at about 4:10 p.m. made a traffic stop near Mile 156 Sterling Highway in an attempt to contact a 54-year-old Homer man wanted for multiple active warrants. Troopers contacted the man as the driver and placed him under arrest. He was taken to the Homer Jail for the original charge of driving with license canceled and for three outstanding warrants.

A trooper K-9 unit at 9:58 p.m. made a traffic stop on a driver near Mile 2 East End road for multiple moving violations. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was identified as a 36-year-old Anchorage man. Investigation revealed he was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was placed under arrest for DUI and driving while license revoked and taken to the Homer Jail.

Dec. 6

Troopers at about 3:50 p.m. arrested a 32-year-old Nikolaevsk man at a residence on Baranoff Street in Nikolaevsk for an outstanding warrant. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
