Firefighters and emergency medical technicians responded to three Advanced Life Support emergencies, five Basic Life Support emergencies, for a total of eight EMS related calls. In addition, there were two fire investigations.

Homer Police
Aug. 19
At 5:35 p.m. an officer contacted a vehicle in the ditch. As a result a 39-year-old Minnesotta resident was arrested for driving under the influence, refusal and bribery and remanded to Homer Jail.
Aug. 20
At 11:45 p.m. an officer conducted a routine traffic stop. As a result a 31-year-old Oregon resident was arrested for driving under the influence and remanded to homer jail.
Aug. 21
At 2:28 a.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired. As a result a 36-year-old Nikiski resident was arrested on a Alaska State Trooper warrant for failure to appear and second- and fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons and remanded to Homer Jail.
At 3:34 p.m. an officer contacted a wanted person. As a result a 20-year-old Homer resident was arrested for a probation violation and remanded to homer Jail.
