Sept. 12
A caller at 3:39 p.m. made a Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle at West Hill Road and the Sterling Highway. An officer went to the area and contacted the driver, but noted no impairment.
A man at 3:10 p.m. went to the police station to report a horse missing in the Homer area. The animal control office was advised.
A female minor at 10:10 p.m. went to the police station and reported an assault. An officer spoke with the minor and guardian.
Sept. 13
A caller at 11:14 a.m. reported a possible wanted person at East End Road and Compass Drive. An officer went to the area and arrested a 50-year-old man on a warrant.
Sept. 14
A caller at 5:11 p.m. requested that a person be issued a trespass notice from a business on the Sterling Highway. An officer contacted the person and issued them a trespass notice.
A caller at 6 p.m. reported concern for tame rabbits that were running in the roadway at Mile 1 East End Road. An officer went to the scene but was unable to locate the rabbits.
Sept. 15
A caller at 12:56 a.m. reported a mattress in the roadway on East End Road. An officer went to the area and the debris was removed.
A 911 caller at 4:40 a.m. reported a vehicle collision with a moose that had caused damage on the Homer Bypass. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 3:39 p.m. made a REDDI report about a vehicle on Rochelle Road. Officers contacted the driver at his home and arrested a 22-year-old man for driving under the influence. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
Sept. 16
Officers at 7:37 p.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers with a REDDI report at Diamond Ridge and the Sterling Highway. An officer contacted the driver and did not note any impairment.
A caller at 7:45 p.m. reported a person swapping the license plate of a parked vehicle on Spit Road. An officer contacted the person and found all was OK.
A caller at 9:10 p.m. requested a welfare check on East End Road. An officer went to the scene and found all was OK.
A caller at 10:55 p.m. reported that neighbors were creating excessive noise and that yelling was coming from the home on Rochelle Road. A 23-year-old woman was issued a violation for giving alcohol to minors.
An employee at 11:39 p.m. reported a large group of teens in a parking lot on the Homer Bypass playing loud music. Officers went to the scene and advised the teens to move along.
Sept. 17
A caller at 3:11 a.m. reported that a vehicle went into the ditch om West Hill Road while trying to back out of the roadway. An officer went to the scene.
An officer at 3:13 a.m. made a traffic stop at Ohlson Lane and the Homer Bypass. A 22-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence and taken to the Homer Jail, and his vehicle was impounded.
A caller at 6:20 a.m. reported a gunshot wound to the leg on East Pioneer Avenue and said the people involved had left the area. A 23-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for fourth-degree theft and fifth-degree criminal mischief and was booked at the Homer Jail.
An officer at 8:33 a.m. warned a driver for driving under the influence at Mile 169 of the Sterling Highway. The person was advised to not drive for several hours.
A caller at 7:13 p.m. reported smoke in a residential area on Soundview Avenue. An officer assisted the fire department with a smoke investigation.
Sept. 18
Multiple 911 callers at 11:10 a.m. reported a fire in the woods near Shirley Court. The fire department and an officer went to the scene.
A caller at 3:41 p.m. reported a possibly intoxicated woman walking in the roadway at Pioneer Avenue and Main Street. An officer went to the area and found the woman was able to care for herself and that all was OK.
A caller at 4:41 p.m. reported an intoxicated woman banging on his door on West Danview Avenue. An officer went to the home and provided the woman transportation to the police department to wait for a ride.
An officer at 5:11 p.m. contacted an intoxicated woman in the roadway at Main Street and Fairview Avenue and provided her transportation to South Peninsula Hospital. The woman was cleared by the hospital and was taken to the Homer Jail for protective custody.
Sept. 19
A caller at 4 a.m. reported a domestic disturbance on Kachemak Way. Officers went to the scene, but the disturbance did not rise to the level of a crime.
Troopers
Sept. 14
Alaska State Troopers at 3:10 p.m. arrested Christopher a 45-year-old Homer mna at a residence on Kay Court in Homer. He was contacted for service of the warrant which was for an original charge of driving with a revoked license. The man was arrested and remanded into the Homer Jail with bail set at $500.

Martin M. Kuzmin, 48, chrage dismissed, disorderly conduct.
Arin J. Hanohano, 26, charges dismissed, fourth-degree criminal mischief and first-degree criminal trespass.
Penny R. Toston, 57, charges dismissed, first-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Tina A. Christoffersen, 47, charges dismissed, first-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Peter P. Basargin, 29, charge dismissed, third-degree theft.
Debra L. Spencer, 46, charge dismissed, first-degree hindering prosecution.
Mary J. Eichler, 73, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree theft. She was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended; ordered to pay restitution in an amount to be determined, a $50 Police Training Surcharge, and a $100 suspended jail surcharge; ordered to complete 80 hours of community service; and placed on probation for one year. She is not to have contact with Timothy Whitehead or his place of business.
Michael G. Wartburg, 74, pleaded guilty to one count of reckless driving. He was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; had his license revoked for 30 days; and was placed on probation for one year.
Stefan B. Nields, 44, pleaded guilty to one count of concealment of merchandise. He was fined $2,000 with $2,000 suspended and sentenced to five days in jail with five days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; placed on probation for six months; and ordered not to have contact woth Safeway in Homer.
Nathan W. Vandecoevering, 44, charges dismissed, fourth-degree assault, fifth-degree criminal mischief. Vandecoevering pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 45 days suspended with credit for time served; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended. He must give a DNA sample if requested by an officer, was placed on probation for two years and was ordered to complete an anger management program.
