A caller at 5:06 p.m. reported a shoplifter at a Lake Street store. Police issued a summons for fourth-degree theft and a trespass notice to a 32-year-old man.
A person at 8:41 p.m. reported a vehicle rollover on East End Road. On June 8 at 7:16 p.m. police received a report of a woman spitting on an emergency responder involved with the crash.

A caller at 6:55 a.m. reported an injured moose on Early Spring Street. Police advised the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
A caller at 11:25 a.m. reported a driver ran over a porcupine on East Skyline Drive.
A caller at 4:29 p.m. reported a person who might be trespassing at a Rogers Loop address. Police contacted the responsible party and they said they would look into the situation.
A person at 5:21 p.m. reported a reckless driver on Bishop’s Beach. Police responded.
A person at 5:56 p.m. came to the station to report a boat stuck on a sand bar off the Spit.
A caller at 7:53 p.m. reported three young people trespassing at a Horizon Court address.
A caller at 8:19 p.m. reported a woman acting strangely on Pioneer Avenue.
A person at 8:34 p.m. made a 911 call reporting harassment at a Blue Sky Avenue address. Police responded.
A person at 9:15 p.m. came by the police station to report harassment. Police advised the caller of options.
A caller at 9:50 p.m. reported a woman acting strangely and yelling in a car parked at a Pioneer Avenue lot. Police responded and found the woman had trouble starting her car.
June 8
A caller at 1:41 a.m. reported a hit-and-run car crash on Pioneer Avenue. Police responded and arrested a 26-year-old man for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
A caller at 9:30 a.m. reported vandalism and theft at an Ocean Drive business.
A caller at 11 a.m. reported a shoplifter at a Lake Street business. Police responded and issued a 1-year trespass notice to a juvenile from the business.
A person at 11:30 a.m. came to the station to report a man acting strangely on Pioneer Avenue.
A woman at 12:32 p.m. came to the station to report shoplifting at a Lake Street business.
A person at 2:01 p.m. made a 911 call reporting underage women smoking cigarettes at a Ben Walters Lane address.
A person at 7:56 p.m. made a 911 call of two men yelling in a camper on the Spit. Police responded.
June 9
A caller at 1:54 a.m. reported a drunk woman walking in the road on Bartlett Street. Police contacted the woman and provided her transportation home where a sober person agreed to care for her.
A woman at 1 p.m. reported a person stalking, harassing and threatening her.
A man at 1:28 p.m. reported a hit-and-run crash.
Police at 6:37 p.m. contacted a person on East End Road and issued citations for violating conditions of release and driving while license revoked.
Police at 10:41 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 48-year-old man on Greatland Street and issued him a summons for driving without a license.
June 10
A person at 12:48 a.m. made a 911 call of an alarm at a Ben Walters Lane business. Police responded.
A caller at 10:27 a.m. reported vandalism to property on Bartlett Street.
Police at 3:05 p.m. provided assistance to a motorist with a disabled vehicle on the Spit.
Police at 1:50 p.m. stopped a bicyclist on the Spit Road and warned the person for failure to yield.
A caller at 6:15 p.m. reported a vehicle at Bayview Park with the driver and passenger smoking cannabis. Police responded.
Police at 7:17 p.m. assisted medics with a call at a Pioneer Avenue address.
A person at 7:38 p.m. made a 911 call reporting an ongoing civil issue at a Big Sky Avenue address. Police called back on a nonemergency line.
Police at 10:04 p.m. assisted medics at a Calhoun Court address.
June 11
Police at 12:23 a.m. went to a Pioneer Avenue address regarding a possible domestic violence incident.
Police at 1:35 a.m. reported someone driving by in a black SUV threw something at them while police made a traffic stop on another driver on Pioneer Avenue.
A caller at 4:19 a.m. reported a person lurking around a closed Bunnell Avenue business. Police responded and contacted a drunk man. All was OK. Police gave the man a ride home.
A person at 4:45 p.m. made a 911 call of a man causing a disturbance who also might be injured at a Sterling Highway address. Police and medics responded.
A person at 6:49 p.m. made a 911 call of a loose dog in the road on Hillside Place with several stopped cars. Police responded and reunited the dog with its owner.
June 12
A woman at 2:07 a.m. made a 911 call of a strange man trying to break into her vehicle while she was in it at a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded.
Troopers
June 9
Alaska State Troopers at 1:53 p.m. went to Mile 158 Sterling Highway for a report of a single-car rollover with a victim apparently dead. Troopers and medics responded and found a 70-year-old Homer woman had been thrown from her car and was dead. The woman had been driving south in a 1998 Ford Escort and went off the road. Next of kin were notified. Troopers also notified the state medical examiner and the woman’s body was sent to Anchorage for an autopsy.
June 2
Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited the following people for returning from fishing charters at Anchor Point and Ninilchik and failing to log their halibut catch on their licenses: A 60-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man, both of Washington; a 19-year-old Kenai man; a 49-year-old woman and a 51-year-old woman, both of Anchorage; a 56-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man, both of California; a 62-year-old man from Montana; an 18-year-old man from Montana, and a 64-year-old man from Oregon.
June 3
Wildlife Troopers cited a 24-year-old Anchorage man and a 65-year-old Nikiski man for catching and retaining a king salmon caught in the Ninilchik river and failing to log it on their licenses.
June 4
Wildlife Troopers cited a 27-year-old Homer man and a 38-year-old Homer man for catching and retaining a king salmon caught in the Anchor River and failing to log it on their licenses.
