June 9-15

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to 15 medical calls and three fire calls.

June 13

Firefighters at 10:40 a.m. went to a house fire on Rainbow Court. Kachemak Emergency Services crews were called for mutual aid. Firefighters found fire through the roof on the first floor and knocked down the fire quickly. Fire damage was limited to the first floor. Crews remained on scene for several hours. An adult person was found dead in the house. The body was to be sent to the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy and positive identification.
