HVFD reminds everyone at this time permits are required for any burning other than small warming or cooking fires. If you live inside Homer city limits permits are available from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the fire hall. Outside Homer permits are available online at http://forestry.alaska.gov/burn/
