A woman at 9:33 a.m. made a 911 call of a man yelling for help from inside a Mountain View Drive home. Police and EMTs responded and took the man to the hospital.
A caller at 10:54 a.m. reported a woman harming herself. Police advised the person to call community mental health.
A caller at 1:10 p.m. reported an abandoned snowmachine on Beluga Lake.
A caller at 1:33 p.m. reported a backpack stolen from an unlocked car parked on Pioneer Avenue.
A man at 7:35 p.m. made a 911 call of a dispute over property at a Bonanza Avenue address. Police responded and issued a trespass notice to a person.
Police at 10:43 p.m. contacted a 21-year-old man driving on Pioneer Avenue and issued him a summons for failure to provide motor vehicle insurance.
Dec. 1
A woman at 10:43 a.m. made a 911 call of a domestic disturbance at a Jennifer Place home. Police responded and separated the parties. The disturbance was verbal only and did not rise to the level of a crime.
A caller at 11:33 a.m. reported a man had mental health issues and might be a danger to himself.
A caller at 1:40 p.m. reported an abandoned car leaking fluids in a Hazel Avenue parking lot. Police contacted the registered owner who made arrangements to have the car towed and the fluid cleaned up.
A caller at 3:39 p.m. reported drivers in cars towing people on sleds on Beluga Lake.
A woman at 5:19 p.m. reported a suspicious person placed an object on the ground and ran away on Pioneer Avenue. The caller later reported the object was a toy. All was OK.
Police at 9:05 p.m. contacted a 24-year-old man driving on East End Road and arrested him for driving while license revoked.
Dec. 2
A woman at 2:12 a.m. reported a domestic violence incident at a Ben Walters Lane home and asked that a 20-year-old man be issued a trespass notice. Police responded and arrested the man.
A caller at 7:23 a.m. made a 911 that a man might have been drinking and stumbled before getting into a car and driving a car on the Sterling Highway. Police stopped the suspect driver and found no intoxication, but arrested the 50-year-old man for driving while license revoked and failure to appear in court.
Dec. 3
A man at 5:33 p.m. made a 911 call that an unknown person had stayed at his Hillside Place home while he was away. Police responded and determined the suspect was an acquaintance of the man. The man said he was OK with the suspect having been living there.
A caller at 3 p.m. reported items stolen from storage under an East End Road home sometime in the previous three weeks.
Dec. 4
A school bus driver at 9 a.m. reported drivers in three cars passed while red lights were flashing on a school bus on East End Road.
Dec. 5
A caller at 6:35 p.m. reported a suspected drunk driver on Pioneer Avenue. Police could not locate the suspect.
Police at 8:09 p.m. arrested a 24-year-old woman on a warrant.
A man at 9:52 p.m. reported paranormal activity in the Latham Place area.
Dec. 6
A store employee at 8:48 a.m. reported finding a hidden cart filled with suspicious items at a Sterling Highway business. Police responded.
A woman at 10:21 a.m. reported the unattended death of a 71-year-old woman at a Main Street home.
A caller at 1:57 p.m. reported drivers in about six trucks drag racing on Beluga Lake.
A man at 3:30 p.m. reported a red tool box fell out of his truck on East End Road.
A caller at 9:09 p.m. reported a domestic disturbance at a Ben Walters Lane home. Police responded and issued disorderly conduct warnings to a man and a woman. Police issued a trespass notice to the man. The incident was verbal only and did not rise to the level of a crime.

A man at 1:54 p.m. reported a theft from a junked vehicle on Ternview Place. Police responded and issued a trespass notice to a suspect.
Police at 4:24 p.m. helped Alaska State Troopers search for a vehicle.
An officer at 7:30 p.m. heard an audible smoke alarm coming from a Bunnell Avenue building. Police contacted a caretaker who determined smoke from a wood stove set off the alarm. All was OK.

An employee at 9:23 a.m. reported vandalism and theft at a Pioneer Avenue store.
A woman at 12:06 p.m. reported a possible injured eagle near a Kachemak Way home.
A caller at 1:32 p.m. reported hitting an eagle with a car on East End Road near Slavin Drive. Police and U.S. Fish and Wildlife officials responded. Fish and Wildlife recovered the injured eagle.
A person at 8:34 p.m. reported an 81-year-old man had gone missing. The caller later reported finding the man safe and uninjured.
A man at 9:01 p.m. reported A.R.T. (all-out retaliatory) tactics on enemies who enter his Latham Lane property. Police did a welfare check and found all was OK.
Dec. 9
A man at 1:12 a.m. made a 911 call that his camera had been stolen earlier in the day. He had no leads to time, place or a person who might have been involved in the theft.
An employee at 1:40 a.m. asked for assistance with a woman wanting to retrieve her belongings from a room at a Sterling Highway hotel. Police responded and provided transport of subjects to a family member’s home.
A woman at 1:41 a.m. made a 911 call of a possible prowler outside a Queets Circle home. Police contacted the woman and searched the area, but did not find any suspicious activity. All was OK.
A man at 2:48 a.m. made a 911 call reporting he was assaulted while walking on Lake Street. Police contacted the man who said it was a misunderstanding. He refused medical treatment or police involvement.
A woman at 10:02 a.m. reported an injured eagle in Kachemak City. Police notified Fish and Wildlife.
A caller at 10:12 a.m. reported a broken window at an East End Road business.
A woman at 10:58 a.m. reported a missing duffle bag containing important papers.
Police at 11:15 a.m. arrested a 19-year-old man on a warrant.
Several callers at 12:10 p.m. reporting hearing gunfire from a boat at sea near Ocean Drive Loop.
A man at 2:14 p.m. reported seeing a bobcat in the East End Road and East Hill Road area.
Several callers at 3 p.m. reported hazardous road conditions.
A caller at 4:30 p.m. reported a damaged fire hydrant on Main Street. Police notified Public Works.
A woman at 4:45 p.m. reported her car was in the ditch on Kachemak Way.
A man at 5:50 p.m. reported he went off the road and into the trees on East End Road.
A man at 5:46 p.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch on Clover Lane.
A caller reported two cars in the ditch at Svedlund Street and Lee Drive.
An officer at 6 p.m. requested a public service announcement advising people to stay off the roadways due to weather. Police notified local media.
A man at 9:42 p.m. reported a car slid on icy roads on Fairview Avenue and hit a stop sign. Police notified Public Works.

An out-of-state agency worker at 9 a.m. asked for information on suspects in a crime there.
A caller at 10:30 a.m. reported an attempted break-in at a Pioneer Avenue business.
A person at 2:30 p.m. made a 911 call of a car crash with injuries on East Skyline Drive. EMTs took a patient to the hospital.
A person at 4 p.m. reported a license plate stolen on Dec. 8 from a car on Pioneer Avenue.
