A man at 9:18 a.m. made a 911 call that he saw a body in a car parked on Skyline Drive. Police responded and determined a 20-year-old man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A caller at 12:14 p.m. reported losing a pink wallet.
A woman at 10:27 p.m. reported people damaging mailboxes in the East Hill Road area.
Nov. 10
A man at 5:08 a.m. reported a suspicious person with a flashlight at the back of a Pioneer Avenue business. People responded but could not locate the suspect. The building was secure.
Alaska State Troopers at 1:44 p.m. asked for police help in locating suspects of a burglary.
A woman at 5:40 p.m. reported a man passed out on a Hazel Avenue trail. Police responded and found the man was OK.
A woman at 6:32 p.m. made a 911 call of a domestic dispute at a Danview Avenue home. Police responded.
A caller at 10:15 p.m. reported hearing a possible gunshot in a Sterling Highway parking lot. Police responded and determined the call was unfounded.
A caller at 10:45 p.m. reported an unwanted man outside a Main Street home. The man later left the area.

A caller at 12:03 a.m. reported a man punching cars at a Sterling Highway business parking lot. Police responded but could not at first find the suspect but later found the man after making a traffic stop on him. Police arrested the man, age 19, for criminal mischief and minor consuming alcohol.
Police at 12:26 a.m. arrested a 29-year-old man for criminal trespass.
A woman at 7:28 a.m. made a 911 call of a burglary at an Ocean Drive business. Police responded.
A man at 8:20 a.m. reported seeing a wanted suspect on the Sterling Highway.
A man at 10:12 a.m. reported a broken window in a car parked at a Pioneer Avenue lot.
A woman at 1:20 p.m. reported receiving a harassing text message.
A caller at 1:42 p.m. reported seeing a drunk man leave a Greatland Street store and drive away. Police could not locate the suspect.

A caller at 3:58 a.m. reported a man in the lobby of a Homer Spit hotel reporting a domestic dispute. Police responded and arrested a 25-year-old man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and disorderly conduct.
A caller at 8:34 a.m. reported a man stole whipped cream at a Sterling Highway store, huffed nitrous oxide gas from it and passed out. Police arrested a 26-year-old man for fourth-degree theft.
A woman at 9:45 a.m. reported an expected death of a 58-year-old woman at her Kachemak Drive home.
A man at 11:45 a.m. asked for options regarding a loan of his car to a person who will not return it. Police offered advice.
A caller at 11:56 a.m. reported a disgruntled former employee spinning out in the parking lot of a Spit business. Police responded and issued a summons to a 66-year-old man for reckless driving.
A person at 1:17 p.m. made a 911 call that he was being stalked by mercenaries on the Spit. Police responded.
A woman at 10 a.m. turned in a set of keys and a hat she found.

A man at 10:59 a.m. reported a smashed window on a car parked on Pennock Street.
A man at 11:43 a.m. reported a car stolen from Kachemak Drive.
A medical facility employee at 1:14 p.m. reported threats from a patient.
A man at 4:37 p.m. reported a bicycle stolen from Bishop’s Beach.
A woman at 4:55 p.m. reported her 1999 black Chevrolet Suburban was stolen from a Bayview Avenue address.
Police at 5:20 p.m. assisted troopers in a driving under the influence investigation on Main Street.
Police at 5:33 p.m. assisted troopers with an arrest for third-degree assault at a Hillside Place address.

A man at 11:30 a.m. reported receiving a bad check from a local business.
A woman at 7:45 p.m. reported suspicious individuals collecting food from residences in the Fairview Avenue area.
A man at 11:20 p.m. reported his girlfriend assaulted him. Police responded and arrested a 31-year-old woman on four counts of fourth-degree assault.
A caller at 6:12 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a 37-year-old woman at a Smoky Bay Way address. Police contacted the woman and took her to the Homer Jail for protective custody.
Nov. 15
A bus driver at 9 a.m. reported a driver in a car passing a school bus when red lights were flashing on Rochelle Road.
A caller at 11:24 a.m. reported finding drug paraphernalia at Karen Hornaday Park.
A woman at 12:23 p.m. reported a reckless driver heading west on East End Road. Police stopped the suspect driver and issued a warning.
A caller at 12:58 p.m. reported the theft of a bank deposit.
Police at 6:48 p.m. issued a summons to a 34-year-old man for driving without a license after contacting him on the Spit Road.

A person at 5:15 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a stolen car. The person later called back to report the car was taken for repairs by a friend.
A woman at 6:05 p.m. reported a man passed out in front of a Sterling Highway business. Police responded. The man was taken to South Peninsula Hospital for evaluation and then held in the Homer Jail for protective custody.
A person at 10:58 p.m. made a 911 call of a possible fire outside city limits in the Skyline Drive and Crossman Ridge area. Police looked in the area. The call was unfounded.
A person at 11:42 p.m. reported a domestic dispute at a Sterling Highway address. Police responded. The call was unfounded.

Police at 8 a.m. asssisted EMTs on a medical call at a Sterling Highway address.
A caller at 1:45 p.m. reported a car parked on and blocking the Spit Trail.
Police at 8:33 p.m. warned a driver about operating a vehicle without a valid license.

Police at 2:57 a.m. contacted a 21-year-old man driving on East End Road and arresed him for DUI.
A caller at 7:23 a.m. reported an expected death at home of a 74-year-old person at a Seabreeze Court address.
A person at 7 p.m. made a 911 call of a domestic dispute at a Lupine Court address. Police responded and separated the parites.

A hospital worker at 3:10 a.m. reported a teenage boy came in the lobby and asked police to check on his mother. Police responded and arrested a 31-year-old man for DUI.
