A person at 1:16 p.m. made a 911 call of a domestic dispute at a Star Lane address. Police responded and found the incident did not rise to the level of a crime.
A man at 1:33 p.m. turned in found car keys.
A woman at 1:40 p.m. reported losing car keys. The keys were found and returned to her.
A person at 2:19 p.m. made a 911 call of a suspicious circumstance at a Lake Street business. Police responded.
A caller at 8:23 p.m. reported a car crash on Main Street with a car blocking a building. Police responded and arrested a 41-year-old man for driving under the influence, driving while license revoked and resisting arrest.
Feb. 14
A caller at 12:13 a.m. reported a dog barking for a long time at a Clover Lane address. Police responded and could not find the dog’s owners. The animal control officer responded and took the dog to the animal shelter.
A person at 10:39 a.m. called 911 and reported having suicidal thoughts. Police responded and took a man to South Peninsula Hospital to meet with a counselor.
Police at 9:13 p.m. served a subpoena at a Sterling Highway address.
A caller at 10:09 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a family member. Police had contacted the person earlier that day and found all was OK.
Feb. 15
A caller at 5:25 a.m. reported a person in a car targeting them with a laser while the caller walked on East End Road near Mattox Street.
A caller at 9:44 a.m. reported shoplifting at a Lake Street address.
A caller at 9:55 a.m. reported a possible theft from a car on Tamara Street.
A caller at 10:51 a.m. reported possible embezzlement at a Sterling Highway business.
Feb. 16
Police at 12:07 a.m. contacted an 18-year-old man driving on Heath Street and arrested him for driving without a license.
A caller at 10:14 a.m. reported the theft of a firearm.
A caller at 10:36 a.m. reported a fraudulent call of someone trying to get money for a relative supposedly in jail out of state.
A caller at 4:53 p.m. reported a person slashed tires on a car parked at a Sterling Highway lot and drove away. Police responded.
Police at 5:57 p.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers on a felony DUI and felony eluding case.
A woman at 10:16 p.m. reported three men in her Fairview Avenue apartment that she wanted removed. Police responded.
Feb. 17
A caller at 8:15 a.m. reported being harassed.
A caller at 9:27 a.m. reported a scam requesting funds in order to claim a prize.
A caller at 3:25 p.m. asked for extra patrols at a Lake Street business because of a hostile customer.
A caller at 8:24 p.m. reported a woman being aggressive. Police responded to a Kachemak Drive address and did not find any criminal activity.
Feb. 18
A caller at 9:15 a.m. asked that a woman be trespassed from a Lake Street business.
A caller at 1:23 p.m. reported a theft from an Ohlson Lane address.
A caller at 4:42 p.m. reported a person squatting in a rental unit at a Sterling Highway address.
A caller at 5:13 p.m. reported a woman sold marijuana at the Homer Public Library. Police responded and issued trespass notice to a woman and provided her transportation to another place.
Feb. 19
A caller at 11:23 a.m. reported a car parked in a handicapped parking space at a Sterling Highway lot and that three able-bodied youth left the car.
A caller at 1:43 p.m. reported a vehicle theft. The caller later reported the return of the car and all OK. He forgot that he had told someone they could borrow the car.
A caller at 3:12 p.m. reported a restraining order violation. Police responded and arrested a 38-year-old man for violating a restraining order.
Feb. 20
A caller at 8:25 a.m. asked for help in locating a parent. Police found that parent at a West Danview Avenue address.
A caller at 2:17 p.m. reported possible drug dealing out of a car on East End Road. Police responded.
A caller at 8:01 p.m. reported someone illegally recording a video on Pioneer Avenue. Police responded and gave the person a ride to a home.
Feb. 21
A caller at 3:34 a.m. made a 911 call that the person accidentally took another person’s jacket from a business. Police retrieved the jacket and returned it to the owner.
Police received six calls of cars in the ditch from 10:59 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Police and medics at 11:29 a.m. went to a report of a car in the ditch with injuries on Klondike Avenue.
