Police at 9:32 p.m. found an illegal campsite on city property in the Poopdeck Street and Hazel Avenue area. Police took items to the police station and served a summons for second-degree criminal trespassing to a 32-year-old man.
A woman at 10:15 p.m. reported an unwanted person entering her Sabrina Road home. Police responded and all was OK.
June 9
A person at 2:18 a.m. reported a fight on the Homer Spit. Police and EMTs responded.
A man at 8:33 a.m. reported a family member had threatened to stab him.
A woman at 10:19 a.m. made a 911 call that her boyfriend threatened her at a Lakeshore Drive address. Police responded and found the man had left before they arrived. Police provided the woman transportation away from the area.
A library employee at 12:21 p.m. reported a young man got into the trunk of a car and left the Homer Public Library.
A person at 2:28 p.m. made a 911 call asking police to do a welfare check on a man on the Spit. Police contacted the man and determined all was OK.
A man at 4:48 p.m. reported an aggressive moose on the side of East End Road with a pedestrian trying to get by. Police responded. The moose was gone when they arrived.
Police at 9:50 p.m. did a drug investigation after making a routine traffic stop on Mullikin Street. Police notified the parent of a child involved.
A man at 11:20 p.m. reported women dancing in the road on Kachemak Drive.
June 10
Public Works at 4:55 a.m. notified police that the Sterling Highway from Pioneer Avenue to Ohlson Lane would be closed all day.
A woman at 8:45 a.m. came to the police station with a 10-year-old girl who was lost.
A caller at 12:30 p.m. reported traffic congestion due to road construction with 20 cars backed up at Main Street and Pioneer Avenue.
A woman at 1:12 p.m. reported her bicycle was stolen two weeks ago from a Fairview Avenue address and boots were taken from her unlocked car two days ago.
A person at 1:22 p.m. made a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a car southbound on the Sterling Highway. Police contacted the suspect driver but did not find impairment. Police warned the driver for driving distracted.
A caller at 3:50 p.m. reported an aggressive moose in the Svedlund Street area. Police notified the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
A man at 4:40 p.m. reported two unknown people at the city water building on Dehel Avenue.
A woman at 5:30 p.m. reported being harassed. Police advised her of options and contacted the subject.
A caller at 6:30 p.m. reported a possible missing adult. The caller later reported the person took a taxi to Anchorage.
A caller at 8:30 p.m. reported an injured seal on the Spit. The animal was later identified as a sea otter. Police notified the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward.
A caller at 10:08 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman. Police contacted the woman and took her to South Peninsula Hospital.

Police at 3:53 a.m. removed scaffolding from the Sterling Highway.
A person at 9:06 a.m. made a 911 call of a car-bicycle accident on East Hill Road. Police and EMTs responded and determined a bicyclist had crashed and no cars were involved.
A caller at 10:44 a.m. reported a possible broken water main on Lake Street. Public Works advised a line was being flushed in the area.
A caller at 5:22 p.m. reported a theft at a Lake Street business.
A caller at 5:54 p.m. reported a boy had his bike stolen while he was at the library.
A woman at 7:46 p.m. reported her granddaughter was being harassed by a person using a cell phone.
June 12
A woman at 7:30 a.m. reported losing her dog.
A woman at 10:12 a.m. reported finding a bicycle at a North Mattox Street address. The caller later said the bicycle’s owner claimed the bicycle.
A caller at 10:47 a.m. turned in binoculars found in a car on Fairview Avenue after someone had entered the car and stolen property from it earlier.
A caller at 2:14 p.m. reported a car accident with no injuries on Meadow Drive. Police responded and issued a summons to a 29-year-old woman driver for not having insurance.
A caller at 5 p.m. reported an injured otter on the Spit. Police notified the SeaLife Center.
A caller at 6 p.m. reported a man would not leave the premises of a Pioneer Avenue business. Police responded and issued the man a one-year trespass notice.
A caller at 6:23 p.m. reported possible drug activity in the Tamara Street area.
Police at 7:27 p.m. did a security check of private property in the Poopdeck Trail area. Police advised a man to leave and charged a girl with minor consuming alcohol.

A caller at 7:57 a.m. reported a car crash with damage on Skyline Drive. Police responded and issued a citation to the driver for failure to exercise due caution.
Police at 10:38 a.m. assisted firefighters at a house fire on Rainbow Court and did a death investigation.
A man at 3:55 p.m. reported theft of firewood from a Main Street yard.
A woman at 7:14 p.m. reported a laptop was stolen.
A person at 9:30 p.m. reported medications locked in a locker but the key was missing. Police advised the person to call a locksmith.
June 14
An agency at 12:26 a.m. asked police to be on the lookout for a missing adult.
A person at 1:39 a.m. made a 911 call of a man outside a Lake Street business verbally threatening staff and unwilling to leave a Lake Street business. Police responded and issue the man trespass notices from two businesses.
A man at 12:18 p.m. reported moose in an enclosed area on Skyline Drive. Police responded but the moose was gone.
A person at 9:20 p.m. reported losing a purse on the Spit.
A caller at 10:04 p.m. reported an incoherent woman at a Spit business. Police responded.
A man at 10:39 p.m. reported a moose and two calves locked inside a gate at a Kachemak Drive business.
June 15
Police at 2:18 a.m. warned a person for driving under the influence and had the driver transported by taxi.
A caller at 9 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a man at a Lake Street business. Police responded and all was OK.
A caller at 12:03 p.m. reported damage done to the back of a Lake Street business.
A caller at 2:16 p.m. reported finding a suspicious package.
A person at 3:20 p.m. reported a possible missing adult in the Homer area. Police advised the person of options and said they would be on the lookout for the missing person.
A caller at 4:28 p.m. reported people speeding at the Karen Hornaday Park Campground with children nearby.
A person at 8 p.m. made a 911 call of hearing what sounded like gunshots coming from a Rainbow Court home. Police responded and determined the sound was from backfiring of equipment.
A caller at 9:13 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a girl at a Lupine Court address. Police responded and found the girl and returned her home.
June 16
A woman at 10:03 a,m. reported an aggressive moose in the Rainbow Court area.
A woman at 10:21 a.m. reported a possible temporary restraining order violation.
