Homer writer publishes fifth romance novel

Homer romance novelist Jennifer Bernard has had her fifth novel in the Bachelor Fireman series published. “Four Weddings and a Fireman” (Avon Books, paperback, $6.99) was released last month and is available at the Homer Bookstore and other bookstores.

In a review, Romance Times said, “Bernard explores beneath her characters’ facades to the vulnerable hearts that beat within them and engages readers in every steamy, heartfelt step of their surprising journey.”

The Bachelor Fireman novels involve the firefighters — men and women — of the San Gabriel firehouse. Her previous novels are “The Fireman Who Loved Me,” “Hot for Fireman,” “Sex and the Single Fireman” and “How to Tame a Wild Fireman.”  Library Journal called her first novel “sexy, sassy, often hilarious, and touching.”

A Harvard University graduate, Bernard lived in California before
moving to Alaska. She also writes erotic novellas under a secret pen name. For more on her work, visit www.jenniferbernard.net.
