A closing reception for “Ocean’s Lament” is 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Homer Council on the Arts. Sponsored by the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, the show invited artists to submit works made of marine debris. Meet some of the artists and learn about the upcoming CACS CoastWalk beach cleanups. A silent auction of art also will end that night.
