Pet of the Week

Bagheera

Bagheera

Bagheera (named for the original “Jungle Book,” thank you very much!) is such a wonderful cat, so full of character that we’re tempted to just keep him. But this boy needs his own home. Five years old, this short-haired black neutered male is good with other cats and dogs — just tons of personality and love. To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the city’s Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 235-3141.
