Pet of the week

Cher is an about 1 and 1/2-year-old female dog. Cher is a sweetheart. She’s been working with some incredible ladies on her manners, skills and, most importantly, her love of playing. She would thrive best in an active lifestyle home, where she can be regularly exercised. The shelter staff would love for Cher to continue her work with her trainer, because she has incredible potential.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
