Pet of the Week

Gorgeous Possum is having a harder time adjusting at the shelter. A 3-year-old female cat, she’s very gentle and sweet, but stressed by all the unfamiliar sights, sounds and smells. We would love to see her get a chance to blossom in an adoptive or foster home soon. Come visit her if you think you could open your heart and home to this beauty.

​To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
