Pet of the Week: Smokey

Pet of the Week: Smokey

Pet of the Week

Smokey is about the friendliest cat you’ll ever meet. A 7-year-old neutered male, he arrived at the shelter with a previous leg injury, and after working with the vets to determine the best course of action he is now sporting a stylish new cast. It definitely does not stop him from being incredibly loving. He likes to sit on your lap and really enjoys treats and attention. If you or anyone you know might be interested in opening up your home and heart to this lovable cat, please get in touch.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
