As part of a new program, the Giving Tree, Bunnell Street Arts Center, HOWL, South Peninsula Haven House, North Pacific Folkschool, Flex School, Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clininc and the REC Room hold “All Fired Up!,” a raku ceramics pit firing. Sunday at the Bishop’s Beach pavilion. Visiting ceramic artist Jim Romberg held a youth workshop on Wednesday. Glazing and fire building is 4-5 p.m. Sunday and then raku works are fired from 5-7 p.m. Donations of food are welcome. The Giving Tree helps promote positive intergenerational mentoring and role models in Homer. For more information, email asia@bunnellarts.org.
