Oct. 5

At 5:25 p.m. while on patrol near Mile 2 North Fork Road, Alaska State Troopers in Anchor Point saw a 32-year-old man known to have a revoked driver’s license driving a black Jeep. Troopers said the man sped up and drove into a gravel pit when troopers tried to stop him. The man stopped his car and fled on foot. Troopers caught the man and arrested him for driving while license revoked and first-degree eluding a police officer. Troopers later got a search warrant and seized controlled substances. Troopers also charged the man with fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Oct. 12

At 3:14 p.m. while on patrol near Mile 142 Sterling Highway in Ninilchik, troopers saw the driver of a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe speeding. Troopers stopped the driver, a 41-year-old Kenai man, and found he had a revoked license. Troopers issued him a summons for driving while license revoked.
