Alaska State Troopers at 1:30 p.m. responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress near mile 144 Sterling Highway. Troopers contacted a 40-year-old Ninilchik man. An investigation revealed the man had broken the window in his girlfriend’s vehicle with his fist. The window was valued at approximately $250. The man was arrested for criminal mischief, fourth degree domestic violence and taken to the Homer Jail with no bail set.
