Alaska Wildlife Troopers issued a summons to a 24-year-old Homer man for commercial fishing with a drift net in upper Cook Inlet during a closed period on July 9.
Troopers at 5:12 p.m. went to a suspicious house fire near Mile 147 Sterling Highway. Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 235-3001 or the Kenai Peninsula Crime Stoppers at (800) 478-4258.
