Jan. 23 Alaska State Troopers at 3 p.m. went to assist Seldovia Police at a disturbance at a Linstedt Lane home in Seldovia. Troopers said a 51-year-old had an altercation with a family member and hit her with his car. The woman was taken to South Peninsula Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Troopers arrested the man for third-degree assault. Troopers at 6 p.m. contacted a 23-year-old Homer man at the Homer Police Station when he turned himself in after learning he had a warrant for third-degree assault and two counts of fourth-degree assault. Troopers arrested the man. Jan. 24 Troopers at 8 p.m. went to a disturbance in Anchor Point near Mile 162 Sterling Highway. Troopers allege a 24-year-old Homer man assaulted a family member and damaged property worth about $260. Troopers arrested the man for fourth-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
