Writer Marilyn Sigman and artist Marilyn Kirkham lead “Line by Line,” a writing and art retreat Aug. 22-24 at the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies Peterson Bay Field Station. CACS naturalists lead guided tidepooling and forest walks. Sigman and Kirkham offer guided exercises to help transform natural history and scientific information into creative nonfiction and visual art that combines lines of text and line sketches. The fee is $225 and includes transportation, food, two nights lodging and a journal. To register or for more information, call 235-6667 or email info@akcoastalstudies.org.
