Zavier Dean Klingensmith

Anchor Point resident, Mr. Zavier Dean Klingensmith, 22, died Friday, June 7, 2019 at South Peninsula Hospital in Homer.

Memorial service was held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at The Homer Christian Church, 865 East End Road in Homer. His father Thomas and Bob Moore officiated.

Zavier was born July 13, 1996 in Greeley, Colorado. He moved to Anchor Point in January of 2019. Zavier worked at Safeway and Boss Hogz in Homer. He was an avid Ham Radio enthusiast, FCC Radio License K9ZDK. He enjoyed computer games and camping as well.

The family wrote, “Zavier always said, ‘I love you.’ We are grateful for that. He will be terribly missed. We live in confidence that we will see him in the resurrection.”

He is survived by his father Thomas (Cassondra Windwalker) Klingensmith of Anchor Point; mother, Jill Lipe of LaSalle, Colorado; grandparents, Dean and Birdie Klingensmith of Keenesburg, Colorado, Becky and Don Baker of LaSalle, Colorado, Nancy and Jens Carroll of Germany and Tom Teater of Denver, Colorado; aunts and uncles, Bill and Carrie Klingensmith of Firestone, Colorado, Jason Baker of Colorado, and Jeff Baker of Colorado; closest cousins, John, David and James Klingensmith of Colorado and Sarah, Matthew, and Daniel Froid of Iowa; and numerous other loving family members across the country.
