Fishing for ‘social justice’?

The following quote is found in the May 9, 2013 Homer News Seawatch column: “We argue that only access to commercially caught fish will increase the social justice of the Kenai food system,”  said Dr. Phillip Loring.

The phrase “social justice” is a Progressive Democrat political code word for “socialism.” It means the same thing as the Progressive Democrat code phrase “redistribute the wealth.” These commercial, for profit,  fishing interests are advocating cutting the individual sport-fishing daily catch-limit of halibut by 50 percent — from two fish to one fish. They then want to add these fish that they take from the individual sport-fishermen, to their total allowable catch and sell them for a profit. They call that “social justice.”

I call that commercial fishing greed.
