A “big” thank you to the Homer Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee and the Sheldon Youth to Youth fund for their donation to Best Beginnings Homer-Playspaces Work Group and our Bayview Park improvments. 

This grant, along with a generous donation from Todd Martin / K Martin Construction,  will allow us to complete Stage 1 this summer: improving the ADA parking area and installing an ADA trail from the parking area to the swings and jungle gym. These improvements will increase accessibility for children and their parents/caregivers who have disabilities or mobility issues. 

We appreciate the Youth Advisory Committee’s support of our project and helping young children and their families gain more access to fun, outdoor playspaces in our community.
