The Kachemak Bay Water Trail Steering Committee and The Friends of Kachemak Bay State Park would like to thank the Homer Foundation for our recent grant to enhance the use of the Kachemak Bay Water Trail. The money will be used to provide transportation for volunteers to improve identified campsites.

This summer improvements will be made at Chugachik Island and several other locations. It is our goal to have a nice system of places to stay which are safe and accessible to all boaters. The money will also be used for travel beyond Homer to present information about the Water Trail and for technical assistance to improve our website.
