Homer High School

Monday, Nov. 11 — Veterans Day (no school)

Today through Saturday, Nov. 14-16 — End of Road Shoot Out at the Kevin Bell Arena. Soldotna vs East High at 5 p.m. Thursday, Homer vs Houston at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, East High vs Houston at 5 p.m. Friday, Homer vs Soldotna at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Soldotna vs Houston at 10 a.m. Saturday, and Homer vs East High at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Homer Flex School

Monday, Nov. 11 — No School

Homer Middle School

Basketball ends on Dec. 14.

Today — Salmon visit for eighth grade science

Friday — Skyview eighth grade basketball vs Homer at Skyview Middle School. Girls at 3 p.m., boys at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday — Basketball, Homer vs Aurora Borealis Charter School at the Kenai Rec Center. Boys B at 10 a.m., girls A at 11:30 a.m. and Boys A at 1 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 11 — No school

Tuesday, Nov. 12 — District-wide budget development presentation at 6 p.m. at Homer Middle School.

Thursday, Nov. 14 — Quarter Honor Roll Assembly at 12:40 p.m. Homer basketball vs Skyview at Homer Middle School. Girls A at 4 p.m. in the gym, girls B at 5:30 p.m. in the MPR, boys A at 5:30 p.m. in the gym and boys B at 4 p.m. in the MPR.

Friday, Nov. 15 — Honor Roll Assembly treats at 12:30 p.m. Basketball, Homer vs Chapman at Homer Middle School. Girls at 4 p.m., boys at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 16 — Homer basketball game in Seward. Girls A at noon at Seward High School, girls B at 2 p.m. at Seward Middle School, Boys A at 2 p.m. at Seward High School and boys B at noon at Seward Middle School.

Fireweed Academy

Both schools

Monday, Nov. 11 — Veterans Day, no school

Nov. 15 — Annual Fireweed Academy Fall Fundraiser for Student Activities at 5 p.m. at Big Fireweed/West Homer Elementary. Open to the public. Fruit fundraiser orders are due this day as well.

Nov. 22 — Coffee with the APC at Big Fireweed at 8 a.m. in the conference room in the teacher’s lounge.

Nov. 28 and 29 — Thanksgiving Break, no school

Big Fireweed

Every Thursday — Jon’s Math Club from 2:45-3:45 p.m.

Nov 7 — After school Math Homework Club with Jon Kulhanek resumes

Dec. 6 — Sixth grade Fundraiser Taco Lunch from 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.

Little Fireweed

Nov. 25 — Gryphon Chip launch at Little Fireweed

West Homer Elementary

Monday, Nov. 11 – No school, vacation day

McNeil Canyon Elementary

Friday — Community Council meeting at 1:30 p.m. All parents are welcome to attend.

Monday, Nov. 11 — Veterans Day, no school

Tuesday, Nov. 12 — KPBSD Budget meeting at 6 p.m. at Homer Middle School

Nov. 28-29 — Thanksgiving Break, no school

Nov. 27 — Spotlight Lunch. Parents of the spotlight students for the month of November are invited to join their children and the principal for lunch at 11:45 a.m.
