Homer High School's first quarter Mariners on the Move are Mischelle Wells, Mason Watson, Zachary Stevenson, Karma Brame, Tyson Walker, Kamdyn Doughty, Jonah Martin (not pictured) and Julie Guess (not pictured).

Homer High School teachers, students and their families gathered Oct. 19 to celebrate the latest Mariners on the Move. Each Homer High faculty member selects one outstanding student per year based on scholarship and character. First quarter winners were:
