There is a time and place for civil discourse. There is no time or place in the public forum for uncivil discourse. I, as a socially moderate and fiscally conservative Republican, do not appreciate being compared to a Nazi by one of your most prolific conributors to Letters to the Editor. You very well know who that person is.

If you continue to print his most obnoxious diatribes, I will understand that your newspaper supports his manner and methods of attacking those who have a different point of view.

If he dares to have an equal debate, he can put his words in writing and direct them to me through the mail. I can, and will, give him a tit for his tat.
