Now might be a good time to let go

Considering the turmoil in which our planet seems to be drowning, regardless of whether it is manmade or of natural causes, it might be a good time to make peace with God. It might be a good time to make peace with your neighbor, your children, anyone with whom you have conflict or harbor ill feelings; whatever the reason.

It might be a good time to ask for forgiveness, as well as to forgive.

It might be a good time to learn the “art of letting go.” Let go of all the baggage you’ve carried around for so long that the sheer weight of it threatens to pull you into a very deep and dark abyss.

It might be a good time to re-evaluate what is important and what truly is not. It might be a good time to realize and be thankful for not only what you have, but what you don’t have. It might be a good time to find a better balance between what you need and what you want.

Material things and human relationships can be stripped away in an instant. “Time” seems to be the only constant we’ve got in this life. We just don’t know how much. It might be a good “time” to get ready for what is to come.
