Party in Pink dances for good cause

This is a letter of thanks to our very giving and loving community and to everyone who supports this worthy cause. We recently had a Zumbathon to raise money for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Grants. We had very skilled and fun instructors who traveled down from Anchorage and Kenai to dance for two hours at our Party in Pink.  We were able to give a Love and Support gift to two members of our community that have been in the midst of actively battling breast cancer.

We had many who contributed to these gifts as well as door prizes. I would like recognize them here with a special thanks. Thank you: Land’s End, Ulmer’s, K-Bay Coffee, NOMAR, Upstairs Boutique, Homer News, Spenard Builders Supply, Bear Creek Winery, Redden Marine, Spa Envy, Vida Tai Restaurant, 31 Gifts Jenifer Kumfer, Homemade by M & C, Laurel Johnson, Two to Tango, Majestic View B&B, Lisa Ann’s Grooming, Nails by Sonja, Scentsy Kesha Eztwiler, North Wind, Pure Romance Britny Bradshaw, and McKibben Jackinsky. We are what makes this Homer feel like home. For us Homer instructors — Jeana Cotney, Katie Jo Gamble, Gretchen McCullough and Myra Ryan — it was a job well done. Thank you all for your contributions.
