Homer High School

Today — Parent-teacher conferences 8:30-11 a.m., and noon to 3 p.m. No school. Winter Carnival Basketball Games in the Alice Witte Gymnasium: 1:30 p.m. (Girls C Team), 3 p.m. (Varsity Girls), 4:30 p.m. (Varsity Boys), 6:30 p.m. (Varsity Girls), and 8 p.m. (Varsity Boys)

Today though Saturday — Rotary Display of KPBSD Students’ Peace Banners in the Commons for Winter Carnival.

Friday – No School, Winter Carnival Basketball Games in the Alice Witte Gymnasium: 3 p.m. (Varsity Girls), 4:30 p.m. (Varsity Boys), 6:30 p.m. (Varsity Girls), and 8 p.m. (Varsity Boys)

Saturday –Winter Carnival Basketball Games in the Alice Witte Gymnasium: 11 a.m. (Girls C Team), 2 p.m. (Varsity Girls), 3:30 p.m. (Varsity Boys), 5 p.m. (Varsity Girls), and 6:30 p.m. (Varsity Boys)

Tuesday, Feb. 12 – Mariners on the Move Awards (by invitation), at 3 p.m. in the library.

Wednesday, Feb. 13 – National Honor Society Trivia Night at 5:30 . p.m. in the Commons. There is a $5 entry fee for singles and a $20 team fee (up to five people). Softball parent meeting at 6 p.m. in the library.

Homer Flex School

Today and Friday — Student-led parent-teacher conferences. Please call the office to schedule your appointment.

Friday — Inservice: Ed Elements: Reflect and Iterate Workshop

Chess Club is Wednesdays from 2:45-3:30 p.m. in the library

Cross-country skiing runs Feb. 11th – March 6, Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:45-5 p.m.

Paul Banks Elementary

The next round of PTA Afterschool Programs have started and will run through the week of March 7.

Monday: Art; Monday/Wednesday: Brandi’s Sport Hour; Monday/Wednesday: Preludes Violin; Tuesday/Thursday: Basketball; Tuesday/Thursday: Outdoor Explorer (Coastal Studies); Thursday: Lego Creators

McNeil Canyon Elementary

Today and Friday — Parent-teacher conferences. Call the office by Feb. 4 if you are unable to attend, to reschedule.

Thursday, Feb. 21 — Spelling Bee for fourth, fifth and sixth grade students, at 1:30 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 22 — Snow Fiesta will be held in the afternoon. Parents are welcome to join for these fun outdoor activities. The school will need hot chocolate servers.

March 22 — McNeil Canyon Talent Show

April 23 — Site Council meeting at 3:30 p.m. in the library. The agenda is to review pupil activity funds and go over McNeil site news.
