Chapman School:

Thursday and Friday, Oct. 26 and 27 — No School Parent Teacher Conferences

Friday, Oct. 27 — Halloween Carnival 6-8 p.m.

Big and Little Fireweed:

Thursday and Friday Oct. 26-27 — Student Led Parent Teacher conferences

Homer High School:

Thursday, Oct. 26 — Volleyball Practice 7-9 p.m., Basketball Camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wrestling Practice 2-4 p.m., Diving Regions at Palmer at 5 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 27 — Volleyball Practice 7-9 p.m., Basketball Camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Swim/Dive Regions at Palmer starting at 11 a.m., and Wrestling at South Anchorage in the Monster Mash starting at noon.

Saturday, Oct. 28— Wrestling at South Anchorage in the Monster Mash starting at 10 a.m., and Swim/Dive Region Finals at Palmer at 1 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 30 — First day of XCS Practice

Homer Middle School:

Thursday and Friday, Oct 26-27 — Conferences/In-service, no school

Thursday, Oct. 26 — Parent Conferences

Wednesday, Nov. 1 — Honor Roll Assembly 11:45 a.m.; Boys and Girls Basketball Chapman vs Homer at Chapman. Girls start at 3:30 p.m., boys start at 5 p.m.

Homer Flex:

Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 25-27 — Student-led Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please call the office for an appointment. 907-235-5558

Oct. 26-27 — No school

Monday, Oct. 30 — Picture Retakes at 8 a.m.

McNeil Canyon Elementary:

The annual McNeil Canyon Elementary Fall Carnival will be held on from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. This is a fun-filled evening for the whole family and community.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 26 and 27 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Oct. 31, McNeil Canyon will once again participate in the National Mix It Up At Lunch Day.

The Artists in the Schools program will be happening Oct. 30 through Nov. 10. The artist this year is Sarah Campen.

Friday, Nov. 3 from 7-8 p.m., Sarah Campen will lead a Community Movement Activity/Dance here at McNeil.

Then on Friday, Nov. 10 at 10:30 a.m., students will present an informance of what they have learned during this two week residency.

West Homer Elementary:

Thursday and Friday Oct. 26-27 – No school, Parent/Teacher Conferences

Monday, Oct. 30 – Site Council Meeting at 6 p.m. in the library

Tuesday, Oct. 31 – Halloween Parade at 9 a.m. in the WHE gym
