Some advice for U.S. Postal Service

Dear USPS employee,

I am sorry if I upset you. I just came in to mail some very important packages today. I don’t mean to offend you by bringing you my packages, but I have been a loyal customer of the USPS for many years, and you have just treated me like I am public enemy number one. I would like you to understand that there are other options for shipping packages. Today I started to consider those other options.

If you ever wonder why the USPS is losing money, you might just consider your actions a bit more closely. How do you like to be treated when you are buying services? Please stop being mean. I for one am tired of being treated so badly by USPS employees. When the government figures out how to train USPS workers to be nice, I bet the USPS will show a profit because customers just might start returning. It might take a while but it could start with you today.

Going to the post office should not be such a bad experience. Not all of you are mean but the few that are need to take a vacation or get a new job. You have no reason to treat people this way. We pay the postage and wait in long lines. Give your customers a break. We pay the bills around here.

In the words of Winston Churchill: “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”
