Thanks for HCOA project support

On behalf of the board, staff, members, and friends of Homer Council on the Arts, I want to thank the Homer City Council for voting in favor of adding the HCOA remodel project onto the non-city funded CIP list. We also want to thank all those who wrote letters, spoke at city council meetings or to me personally, asking questions and expressing support for this important project.

Remodeling the HCOA building will greatly improve energy efficiency, repair age old water issues, bring the building to be ADA compliant, and by replacing partitions with walls and doors, several activities will be able to go on concurrently allowing us to better serve the Homer community.

We encourage and welcome community involvement with this exciting project. For more information please call Gail at 235-4288. Thank you so much.

Gail Edgerly, executive director
