Donna Mae (Brown) Chapman, 80, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at her Anchor Point home with friends and family by her side.
Donna was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Ira, Texas, to James and Iva Brown.
She graduated from Marysville High School then continued her education by attending Everett Community College. Donna lived in Washington State from 1942 until 1976 when she and her family moved to Alaska.
Traveling and going on adventures with her friends and family meant a lot to Donna. She also loved to bake and everyone who knew her couldn’t wait to try the delicious dishes she cooked. Her home was always open to visitors and no one left hungry. She took part in book club as well as the Red Hat Society. Hobbies included knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting.
Donna is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert L. Chapman, as well as three of her children, Teresa (Greg) Thomas of Washington, Charles (Terri) Chapman of Florida and Kathy Chapman of Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Iva and James Brown; and her sons Wayne Henault and Richard Henault.
