Marta Eugenia Brosnan Salazar “Mariana” was born August 28, 1943, in San Jose, Costa Rica and she passed into glory February 21, 2025, in Bend, Oregon.

Mom made a life changing decision when she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She loved raising her children in Alaska. She enjoyed singing, cooking amazing meals, caring for flowers, telling jokes, laughing and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son John, her siblings. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Michele, Salome (Russ), Maria (Shaheer), and her 10 grandchildren Jake, Jonathan, Siobhan, Melyssa, Jordan, Ariel, Dakota, Tanner, Newara and Valeria, seven great-grandchildren plus two on the way, extended family and friends.
