Breast Cancer Run in need of volunteers

The 19th annual Homer Breast Cancer Run, sponsored by Kachemak Bay Family Planning Clinic, is just a month away and committee members are needed to help with the five-mile event.

Scheduled for August 18, the run begins at Bishop’s Beach Pavilion and continues through town. Registration begins at 10 a.m.; the race begins at 11 a.m.
