Figure skating and hockey begin at Kevin Bell Arena

Figure skating with weSkate begins on Sunday, Sept. 25. The program teaches figure skating from age 5 through adults as an outlet for creativity and confidence building while having fun. No previous skating experience is necessary. Contact homerskaters@gmail.com for more information.

Icebreakers Hockey, a program for ages 8-13 to learn to play hockey, begins Sept. 17 and continues through Nov. 5. All games are played at Kevin Bell Arena on Saturdays at 1-2 p.m. Cost is $80 for eight weeks. No equipement or experience necessary. All new equipment is provided for the program from a donation from the NHL players association. There is gear for 20 skaters on a first come, first serve basis.
