Mariners, Warriors named to Peninsula All-Conference football teams

The 2015 Peninsula All-Conference football teams were announced this week, and players from Homer High and Ninilchik School make up nearly the entire first team. Below are the first team players from each school. To see players named to the second time and who received honorable mentions, go to homernews.com. The All-State team will be voted on in two weeks.

FIRST TEAM 

 

Homer Mariners:

Josh Fisk – halfback, return specialist,
defensive back

Michael Swoboda – utility player

Greg Smith – wide receiver

Ralph Mitchell – guard

Jadin Mann – tackle

Teddy Croft – defensive back

Trevor Fenex – defensive lineman

Vincent Waddell – defensive lineman

Nikolaevsk Warriors:

Dennis Anderson – quarterback

Ryker Riddall – halfback, linebacker

Corin Cooper – full back

Luke Johnson – tackle, linebacker

Jon McCormick – guard, long snapper, linebacker

Hunter Holloway – wide receiver

Luck Broussard – kicker

Matthew Minium, linebacker

Dylan Broussard, defensive back

Ian Johnson, defensive lineman


Offense Player of the Year:

Defense Player of the Year:
Jon McCormick (Nikolaevsk)
