The Homer Mariner Nordic Ski Team invites skiers to its annual Ski Your Age Event on Sunday, Dec. 26. Ski the trails anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and try for one of the following categories: Ski Your Age in Kilometers, Century Club (100 minus your age in kilometers), Most Kilometers as a Family, Ski 50K, or whatever you feel up to.

At the Lookout Mountain trailhead, bring any Christmas leftovers to share and register your distance on the board. Or for more social distancing, you can choose any of the other trail systems and record your stats on the Ski Your Age Facebook page or email Homer High School coach Katie at kt.miller.ak@gmail.com. The Mariner Ski Team will distribute the coveted “I Skied My Age” medallions to all of the trailheads for participants.

This is a Homer High ski team fundraiser with three ways to donate: donation box at Lookout Trails, mailing a check made out to Homer High School Ski Team to Homer High School (600 Fairview Ave, Homer AK 99603) or online via Coach Katie’s Venmo account @katie-alaska.
