New view of harbor

The new Harbormaster’s Office is taking shape overlooking the Homer harbor. Project Engineer Dan Nelson of the city of Homer’s Public Works Department estimated the structure is about 50 percent complete and estimated the move-in date will be in March. Construction of the $2.1 million, 4,778-square-foot building was awarded to Steiner’s North Star Construction Inc. of Homer.
