Jay Calvert left, and Meagan DeBenedetto, right, hold a pipe distributing silver salmon fry into pens at the Nick Dudiak Fishing Lagoon last Thursday. About 130,000 fry were put into the pens. Calvert is a doctoral student at the Ulster University in Northern Ireland.
